Offer major types
There are 3 types of Offers available:
- based on a set designs
- based on a code entered at checkout
- by custom code added to the system on request
Multiple design based offers can be active on a single order, but only 1 check out code offer is allowed.
A design can only be linked to 1 design based offer at any 1 time.
Offers are active between the start date and end date set on the offer.
Offers can be marked as Single User. When set the order history is checked for the customer and if the offer has been applied already it will not be available again.
Offer Sub Types – Design Based
Design offers are calculated immediately and shown on checkout screen with out any extra action by the customer.
Buy One Get One Free
The designs linked to the offer are grouped in pairs by highest price and lowest price. The lowest price of each pair will have the discount set to 100%.
Buy One Get One Free (50% Discount)
The designs linked to the offer are grouped in pairs by highest price and lowest price. Both items in the pair will have the discount set to 50%.
Buy X Get Y Free
The designs linked to the offer are grouped in set of (X + Y) by X of the highest price and Y of the lowest price. The lowest priced items of the set will have the discount set to 100%.
Additional Discount
The designs linked to the offer are grouped and the extra discount will be taken off the already discounted price. E.g If the customer has 10% discount and the additional is 5% then the price is reduced by 10% then by 5% which would be 14.5% total discount.
A minimum quantity of designs in the group can be optionally added so that the discount is only applied if X items are purchased
A minimum net value of designs in the group can be optionally added so that the discount is only applied if the net value of the designs in the group (Value after normal customer discount) is greater than the set value.
A minimum net value of the order can be optionally added so that the discount is only applied if the net value of the whole order (Value after normal customer discount) is greater than the set value.
Discount

A minimum quantity of designs in the group can be optionally added so that the discount is only applied if X items are purchased
A minimum net value of designs in the group can be optionally added so that the discount is only applied if the net value of the designs in the group (Value after normal customer discount) is greater than the set value.
A minimum net value of the order can be optionally added so that the discount is only applied if the net value of the whole order (Value after normal customer discount) is greater than the set value.
Add Discount
The designs linked to the offer are grouped and the discount calculated by adding the normal discount to the offer discount percentage. E.g If the customer has 10% discount and the additional is 5% then the price is reduced by 15%.

A minimum net value of designs in the group can be optionally added so that the discount is only applied if the net value of the designs in the group (Value after normal customer discount) is greater than the set value.

Free Gift
The designs linked to the offer are grouped and if the quantity and value requirements are met the free item is added to the order.

A minimum net value of designs in the group can be optionally added so that the discount is only applied if the net value of the designs in the group (Value after normal customer discount) is greater than the set value.

Offer Sub Types – Promotion Code Based
Promotion Code based offers are only applied on the check out screen when a valid code is entered.
Additional Discount
The extra discount will be taken off the already discounted price of all items. E.g If the customer has 10% discount and the additional is 5% then the price is reduced by 10% then by 5% which would be 14.5% total discount.

Free Gift
If the quantity and value requirements are met the free item is added to the order.
A qualified item offer code can be checked and only these items will be used in the calculation. To create a qualified items offer code use the Design Offers to create a offer and add the code to the promotion code offer. The design offer code and be active or not.

Offer Administration
Offers are created in the Administration system via Offer Administration.
On select a list of current offers is shown
To create a new offer click on Create Offer
Enter a new offer code and description, select the type of offer, enter the start and end date and any other parameters required.
Click Create to save.
To edit an off click on the edit button to the right of the line
Change the values as required
Click Edit to save
To delete an offer click on the delete button to the right of the line 
Confirm the deletion by clicking Delete
To view an offer and add designs to a design offer click on the offer line
On the right of the screen enter season / design pairs and click + to add. You can add design by only entering the design code if this is unique.
Designs will appear in the list
Click the delete button to remove a design.
A list of designs can be pasted to the past box, they should then appear in the list.
Check out
On the check out screen, if a price has been adjusted by an offer it will be marked with ** after the price.
