Card Manager

Data Manager allows users to directly manage data for the WebPortal and the CMRemoteSales (CMRS) app.

The "Dictionary" table (within Data Manager), is used to rename text controls in the CMRS app.

Permissions / Access

Note that users are required to be logged in and have "Admin" and "Data Manager" permissions in order to access these areas of the WebPortal.  

Renaming Fields

First log into the WebPortal and navigate to the Data Manager (Options > Admin > Data Manager)  and then click on "Dictionary".

Next, click on the "Output" text field, and enter the text in the CMRS app that you would like to rename, and click the Magnifying Glass icon.

The results are then displayed, listing matching text fields from various areas of the CMRS app.

For example, the first entry 'Catalogue' is the Catalogue text shown in the Product Search.

Lastly, click the edit button (clipboard icon) next to the relevant item, and enter the new text into the "Output" field.

Then click the Save button

Changes to the CMRS app, will be visible on the next successful Sync or Settings Refresh (Login screen - circular arrow icon) performed by the app user.
