Symptoms

During the CMRS app's synchronisation the user receives the following error message:


"Synchronise: Error communicating with server; the network connection was lost"




Resolution

First enable “Force Online” on the CMRS app, and retry a sync.

Login > Admin Options > Settings > “Force Online”

 

Next, completely shutdown and restart the iPad, and then test Webserver access by opening Safari and navigating to:

https://control.card-manager.com/

 

The iPad should be able to access the above link; but if not, then the issue is likely to be network connectivity related.
