Creating Warehouses : Card Manager

Select Master Options

Select System Preferences / Inventory Control / Maintain Warehouse.

Click on the new button

Enter a name for the warehouse.

Now you need to get the check boxes right as it is difficult to change.

Consignment	Check this is the warehouse is to hold consignment stock at a customer’s premises
Exclude from total stock	Check this is the stock level is not to be part of the total available stock, usually ticked when the warehouse is consignment.
Require Orders to be Released to Warehouse	Only check if this is a remote warehouse where you need to control the orders being picked.
Credit Warehouse	Checked to indicate this is a credit warehouse to hold stock from credits
Van Sales / Franchisee Warehouse	Check to indicate this warehouse represents a Van which a rep uses to supply stock to customers

For a normal warehouse you would normally enter the name and then click Apply.
